Managing a robust pipeline of RFPs can be a complex and time-consuming endeavor. Between monitoring multiple opportunity sources, reviewing lengthy solicitations, and coordinating responses across teams, it’s all too easy to miss high-value requests. To address this challenge, we’re excited to announce the release of our new Email Notification feature in RFP Planner. This enhancement proactively sends alerts when fresh RFPs from SAM.gov enter your pipeline and align with your organization’s NAICS codes, ensuring that you and your colleagues can act instantly.
Our matching engine continuously fetches the latest federal opportunities from SAM.gov. Every time new solicitations appear, we cross-reference them against each customer’s registered NAICS codes to identify relevant matches. When an opportunity meets your criteria, RFP Planner generates and dispatches an email notification not only to the primary account holder but to every member of your organization. This organization-wide alert system keeps all stakeholders in sync, reducing communication gaps and accelerating your response time.
Since launching this feature to production, we’ve received positive feedback from customers who appreciate the real-time visibility into applicable RFPs. By centralizing notifications, teams can collaborate more effectively on strategy, resource allocation, and proposal drafting. Whether you’re a small business trying to maximize limited bandwidth or an enterprise pursuing dozens of solicitations, these automated alerts empower you to prioritize high-value contracts without constantly checking dashboards or manual feeds.
In parallel, we’re extending our opportunity matching beyond federal opportunities by integrating state-level feeds, starting with Texas. Over the past few weeks, our engineering team has been testing ingestion of Texas state procurement listings into the same matching pipeline. This ensures a unified experience: new Texas contracts that align with your NAICS codes will trigger the same email notifications as federal RFPs. We plan to roll out Texas state-level matching to all customers in the coming weeks, with more states to follow shortly after.
To accommodate diverse user needs, we’re also building out subscription options that allow customers to select which opportunity sources they want to monitor. In the near future, you’ll have the flexibility to combine federal opportunities from SAM.gov with one or more state-level portals. If your business focuses on both federal and Texas contracts, you can subscribe exclusively to those sources and opt out of others. This modular approach keeps your inbox focused and relevant to your unique sales strategy.
Meanwhile, our AI Insights package continues to evolve, offering deeper automation for your proposal process. Using advanced natural language processing, we can now summarize RFP requirements, extract key dates, and highlight evaluation criteria automatically. These AI-generated insights appear alongside each opportunity in RFP Planner, helping you triage leads faster and draft higher-quality responses. Future enhancements will include automated outline generation and intelligent content suggestions to further streamline proposal creation and cut response times dramatically.
Looking ahead, we have several exciting updates on our roadmap. After completing the Texas rollout, we’ll begin integrating additional state procurement systems, empowering you to scale your pipeline beyond federal domains. We’ll also refine our subscription management interface to make it effortless to add or remove sources at any time. On the AI front, we’re piloting predictive scoring models that rank opportunities based on win likelihood, historical performance, and your organization’s capacity, giving you a strategic edge in pursuit management.
We’re committed to delivering continuous innovation that helps you win more contracts with less effort. If you haven’t already, log into RFP Planner today to configure your NAICS codes, update your subscription preferences, and explore the new Email Notification feature. Stay tuned for state-level matching updates and AI enhancements — we can’t wait to see what you achieve with these powerful tools at your disposal. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions to help us refine our platform further.
